Carden Suite

Our largest space is fitted with a stage and contains plenty of room for a spacious dance floor. With optical mirrors turning into screens, you can display your own photography and video in this highly customisable space. Your indoor wedding suite features:

Hotel Wedding Accommodation

Carden Park is a countryside hotel which has been home to many luxury weddings. With multiple event venues and 197 bedrooms, we can accommodate groups of all sizes; from intimate ceremonies to larger celebrations.

As part of your wedding package, the newlyweds will receive a complimentary room for the night of your special day. With an optional paid upgrade to a luxury suite should they wish. If your guests choose to stay with us, you can be assured that their experience will be comfortable. Our overnight guests will enjoy access to our state-of-the-art leisure club as well as a delicious buffet breakfast inclusive of their room-rate.

Led by our Executive Chef Graham Tinsley MBE, our talented kitchen team will be on hand to create a menu expertly suited to your tastes and budget. Surrounded by your nearest and dearest, our magical wedding venue are ideal for large or modest wedding breakfasts. We can also provide state-of-the-art presentation facilities for heartwarming clips of the happy couple or cringe-inducing visual aids for the best man’s speech!

Wedding Venue FAQ's

  • How much is the venue hire after the package price?

    The venue hire is built in to your package price as long as your numbers are above are minimum threshold. For example 60 day guest midweek and 70 day guests on Saturday. If your wedding numbers are below this room hire can apply; this is dependent on your wedding guest numbers. Our wedding co-ordinators will discuss all of the options with you in detail.

  • What happens if it rains and we are due to have the ceremony outside?

    We will always have a wet weather option built into your package, to ensure you day runs perfectly come rain or shine. This will usually be in the room you chose to have your reception in. The decision can be made by you on the day up to 3 hours before the ceremony whether we call upon this option.

  • Do you have a get ready room for the bridal party?

    We are able provide a ‘get ready room’ for the bridal party which offers plenty for space for your pre-wedding preparations. If you have stayed with us the night before, you are more than welcome to use the bedroom to get ready in if preferred. We recommend you select either a Courtyard Suite or Carden Luxury Suite if you are getting ready in the room to ensure ultimate comfort.

  • Are dogs allowed to my ceremony?

    We would be delighted to include your furry friend in your special day. Dogs are allowed anywhere outside and within your ceremony venue (Shooting Suite or Carden Suite). They must be kept on a lead at all times and someone from your wedding party must be responsible for them. Your dog is more than welcome to stay for the photographs but they must be collected before the wedding breakfast. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs in our bedrooms or to stay over and guest dogs are not permitted.

  • What is included in the Dry Hire for weddings?

    If you would prefer not to opt for one of our wedding packages we do offer hire of the venue only. Our Dry Hire wedding venue option includes; exclusive use of your venue from 6am until 2am, tables, chairs, linen, a section of our kitchen for food preparation and a complimentary Carden Luxury Suite for the newlywed couple on the night of your special  day.

  • What are the differences in wedding package prices?

    There will be price differences between our high season (April to September) and low season (October to March). Additionally, there will be a difference between popular Saturday dates in comparison to other weekdays. We also offer late availability dates which will be priced slightly lower. Prices will also vary depending how closely you would like to stick to our wedding packages or how much bespoke elements you would like to include to bring your dream wedding vision to reality.

  • Do you allow fireworks at weddings?

    Absolutely! This must be planned in advance with your wedding co-ordinator and run by a professional firework company (we have a recommended supplier). We only allow fireworks up until 10.00 pm and there are some restricted dates that unfortunately we are unable to accommodate. If fireworks are a vital part of your special day, our planners will work with you to find a date that allows for them. We do recommend silent fireworks due to the neighbouring farms around Carden Park.

  • Do you get access to the spa as part of a wedding package?

    You do not get access to The Spa at Carden as part of any of our wedding packages. However if you wish to add this element in for some pre or post-wedding relaxation we can definitely add this to your booking. Just let your wedding co-ordinator know and they’ll be happy to arrange this for you.

  • Should we provide our suppliers with a meal?

    We suggest that you provide any contractor spending! more than five hours at your wedding with a meal. Please speak to the wedding team for more information on supplier meal options and pricing. Please note some suppliers may have their own specific policies on this so it is definitely worth checking prior to booking.

  • Do you allow confetti to be thrown?

    We do allow bio-degradable confetti such as sried flowers and petals which work fantastic for photographs. If you wish to read more about sustainable wedding tips: Click Here.

It is not the cheapest venue or bedrooms but you certainly get what you pay for and a lot more from our experience. The rooms are gorgeous, leisure facilities are excellent that are also included in the room stay, the grounds around the hotel are beautiful and the hotel it’s self is more than welcoming. There is a great mixture of families, couples and others in the hotel and Carden provides for all! It was just a nice environment to be in. We could not recommend Carden park more for a wedding or break away it truly was amazing and we cannot thank them enough

From the chefs, the waiting on staff, the bar staff, the wedding planners, managers, reception staff, golf buggy driver and Kate (blooming beautiful), the day was absolute perfection in EVERY way.
