From our aerial adventure course, Vertigo at Carden through to archery, Segways, air rifle shooting and much more. We’ve got everything you could possibly need for an exciting day out in Cheshire.
All of our outdoor activities are low carbon and entertaining for families, friends, couples and for team-building days! There is heaps of outdoor fun for for adults and children alike. Please note that age, height and weight restrictions apply to our outdoor country pursuits.

Vertigo at Carden
Do you have a head for heights? Or do you simply want to face your fears with a new challenge?
Vertigo at Carden offers two terrifying levels of white-knuckle high-wire course adventure for all abilities. Ending at the top of a 10-metre-high wire tower, this is where true bravery is tested as you can launch yourself onto a giant stunt pillow or glide back to ground level via an exhilarating 210m zip line.
Discover: A dual 210m zip line, 2 tiers of mentally stimulating obstacles, 10m freefall jump, and a rock climbing wall.

Free Fall Pillow
Return to ground level via our free fall stunt pillow jump! Build up your confidence by jumping from 3 metres, 6 metres and then 10 metres onto a giant, inflatable stunt pillow. A thrilling experience you won’t forget.
Stunt Pillow Restrictions: 3m Jump minimum 6 years old; 6m Jump minimum 10 years old; 10m Jump minimum 14 years old
210m Dual Zipline
At the end of your Vertigo adventure, you will have the option to return to ground level via an exhilarating dual 210m zip line. The view is incredible overlooking the Welsh hills as you’re soaring through the sky!
The minimum height for zipline is 1.3 metres and the maximum weight is 18 stone, it is only suitable for adventurers over 6 years old.
Climbing Wall
Venture to the top of our rock climbing wall and navigate our multi-coloured boulders for a top scrambler challenge. Why not reach for the skies when planning your next fun outdoor activity?
The minimum height for the climbing wall is 1.3 metres and the maximum weight is 18 stone, it is only suitable for adventurers over 6 years old.
Archery
You will receive one-to-one tuition on how to use our traditional longbows followed by a head-to-head competition to see who can score gold. You can’t beat a good shootout!
This activity is only suitable for adventurers over 7 years old.
Mini Quads
After some tuition from our qualified instructors, it is all aboard for some mud flinging, wheel spinning action winding our way through our purpose-built mini-quad track.
Participants age 7-12 years old. Maximum Height 1.4 Metres.
Air Rifles
You’ll be equipped with .22 and .177 rifles and a large array of metal air rifle targets to aim for. This is an experience for all the aspiring top shots out there, take aim and FIRE!
This activity is only suitable for adventurers over 7 years old.

Segway Safari
Balancing on two wheels has never been easier than on a Segway Safari experience. Our instructors will have you easily negotiating your way around tracks and woodland across the scenic, 1000-acre Carden Park estate. You are bound to have bundles of outdoor fun.
Your 1 hour segway activity experience will include:

 Introduction to Segway experience
 Training area for beginners
 Instructor-led estate course

4x4 Off-Roading
Our specifically designed course will take your driving skills to the edge, quite literally! Your exciting 4×4 off-roading session will be with a Lantra Qualified Instructor.

Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting
Compete with converted shotguns relaying back to our scoreboard for a faster-paced activity without the usual kicks and bangs! With realistic sound effects of a shotgun and breaking clay.
This activity is only suitable for adventurers over 14 years old.
