Our talented individuals continually make a significant impact in the hospitality sector, earning numerous accolades that highlight their exceptional contributions. Recently, one of our Greenkeepers (Jeff Jones) was honoured with the Unsung Hero Award, and one of our chefs (Cyril Gabriel) was named Chef of the Year at the Chester Hospitality Awards, as pictured. We have a diverse range of both full-time and part-time job positions that cater to a variety of skill sets. Many people are often surprised by the wide array of roles available within our hotel, from front-of-house and culinary positions to night porters, event planning, and beyond. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just starting your career, there’s a place for you at Carden Park.

Sales & Commercial

The Commercial departments excel in driving revenue through strategic planning and guest relationships. They manage corporate bookings, events, and marketing initiatives, ensuring exceptional service and maximising profitability.

Kitchen

The kitchen are renowned for their culinary excellence, delivering tasty dishes crafted from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Working alongside Graham Tinsley MBE, the team ensures exceptional dining experiences, catering to diverse palates and dietary needs.

Spa

The Spa at Carden Park offers a luxurious retreat with a wide range of treatments. Skilled therapists provide services, including massages, facials, and beauty treatments, ensuring guests experience ultimate relaxation and well-being

Golf

The Golf Department features two championship courses set in stunning Cheshire countryside. Catering to all skill levels, the department offers lessons, tournaments, and memberships, ensuring an exceptional golfing experience with top facilities and services.

Housekeeping

The Housekeeping Department ensures immaculate cleanliness and comfort in all guest rooms and public areas. With meticulous attention to detail, the team provides top-tier service, maintaining high standards to enhance guests’ overall experience.

Food & Beverage

Multiple Food and Beverage Departments offer an exceptional dining experience across a variety of restaurants and bars. Skilled staff provide outstanding service, delivering a diverse menu of exquisite cuisine and beverages, ensuring guests enjoy memorable culinary moments.

Working at a five-star spa facility with exceptional amenities makes me truly proud of where I work. The recognition we receive through awards each year is a testament to the dedication we all share. I absolutely love my colleagues, and it’s rewarding to contribute to ensuring our guests' experiences are exceptional through outstanding customer service. Beyond my reception role, I enjoy assisting other departments within the spa, all while upholding the high standard we aim to deliver. On a personal note, I also appreciate the perk of free access to the gym and swimming pool - I love starting my day with a swim before heading into work.

Working at Carden Park is truly special. The beautiful scenery and hardworking team create an incredible environment to spend time in. The best part of my job is speaking with guests and making their experience as memorable as possible, especially when I get to create something bespoke for special occasions. The support I get from managers and supervisors makes a huge difference to my day, unlike any other workplace I've experienced before. The pride we take in offering unmatched quality is shared by everyone on the team. I feel confident that we provide 5-star service from the moment a guest first calls. Plus I also love the perks - using the leisure club keeps me motivated and healthy, which is important to me. I also regularly take advantage our staff perk box which has a lot of wonderful discounts too.

Cerys Jones - Reservationist

The chance to progress is what I like most about working at Carden Park, and the team is really supportive. I started on the bar team, then moved up to shift leader, and now I’m a trainee bar manager. The variety in the job keeps it interesting - one day I’m handling weddings, the next I’m working with golf groups which is quite different. I also get to collaborate with other teams like C&B to make sure every guest gets great service. Plus, the hotel's location is very idyllic, so driving in every day acts as a reminder of how much I like the place.

Carden Park has provided me with incredible opportunities to expand my skill set and continually learn new things. There are no two days that are the same which makes each day interesting and fun. They’ve supported my development by providing relevant courses and qualifications, and their commitment to sustainability through the environmental committee makes it an even better place to work. At The Leisure Club, I have the chance to meet guests from around the world and be part of a great membership community, which creates a welcoming, friendly atmosphere. The perks are great too - I regularly enjoy the Leisure facilities, including the all-weather tennis courts, and have made the most of the Spa and an overnight stay.
